Using the Terminal Two of Taoyuan International Airport as the Validation Site, the promotion of 5G smart transportation applications includes:
1. Image recognition technology: Applied in the departure hall for passenger flow statistics, waiting time calculation, and monitoring service levels.
2. Inspection service: Mobile vehicles equipped with high-resolution cameras can transmit real-time images through 5G high bandwidth to assist site manage ment units in obtaining on-site footage.
3. Autonomous mobile robots: Providing virtual customer service and site guid ance services for departing passengers.
4. Mobile vehicle applications: Combined with OBU(On-Board Unit), it can achieve vehicle positioning management and battery status monitoring.
5. Establishment of a situation room: Real-time monitoring of equipment location, image information, and provision of statistical reports, allowing management units to more timely grasp site information and provide more attentive service to passengers.
